The arrangement is a bit too tight, and there is not enough of a contrast between the glasses for this one to be visually impacting enough. Maybe filling each glass with a different colored beverage might have worked to your advantage.

lighting seems a bit harsh from the camera flash, also wish the background were farther away to isolate the glasses more. bright and sharp, nice focus.

aren't those the Calgary Olympic glasses from 1988 that Petro Canada was giving out??

decent setup, although not perfectly centred. Lighting could be a little less harsh to make it "pop" a bit more. I think a plain background might have worked a bit better as well.

lighting is too "front and forward" which has created the strong shadow on the wall. You could try buying a plain plack foam board (they are really cheap) and photographing the doll against that. This eliminates shadows and the doll's features would likely have shown up better.

Maybe if you tried lighting from different angles, tried different backgrounds, you may have come up with more of a stand out image.

It might be a good idea to try to photograph something more original for the next DPC challenge. The shadow is also rather harsh here- moving the subject away from the wall and not using flash might help. Keep trying!
