I've Got A Bad Feeling About Thisby joebokComment by Dr.Confuser: Good idea and reasonably well composed. Focus seems a littl soft for my taste. Maybe because it's because I am struggling with really sharp focus, but I seem to prefer it at the moment. In any event, hope this does well. It's a worthy shot. |

Hourglassby joebokComment by graphicfunk: The hour glass is low tech, the manufacture of this one is very high tech, however, the principle meets the challange. These images can be better presented by lighting the candle right before the exposure. In this manner the flame is not allowed to burn out the vicinity of the flame. 7 |

Very good use of light and depth of field; as this is a chess photo formation looks a bit awkward but it helps the composition :-) |
