Right, lots to say here. I think for starters your pose is nice and loving. There is a good degree of united front and togetherness here, and you have captured a tender moment.

However, for these positives, i can see some people using that as a negative. Humans by nature do not like to see others being affectionate (well the British don't ;) So people may feel uncomfortable seeing an image posed as this one is. Joining that with the fact that we all kind of know each other on DPC makes it more personal and accentuates that even more so.

That aside, i think it could do with a smidgen of contrast - making some deeper dark shadows or blacks really come out and give it more contrast.

A bold shot, perhaps too stark for my taste. The pose is very romantic and loving, but the light is very harsh, and the shot is not too flattering. The woman's right shoulder is a bit tense, and looks a little like defensive body language. There's really bad glare off the body surfaces facing the camera, so I'm presuming this was taken with flash. I think soft side-lighting would have worked much better here. The spray of water looks great, and the composition works well.
