The Riverby Travis99Comment by melismatica: A beatiful scene that sets a mood. I wish the fisher was wearing a red shirt or something so he stood out more from his surroundings but that's very likely something you had no control over. The water is a bit too contrasty--I'd like to see more midtones. Water can be a difficult subject to capture though. |

The Riverby Travis99Comment by fadedbeauty: I like the color and mood of this...though the sharpness of the image seems a bit soft and the person being in the center like that is distracting. It may have actually been better if they weren't there at all. |

The focus seems a little soft, though, and I wonder if it would look better if her hand (or the light) was turned so that it didn't cast a shadow right next to it? That's a pretty minor thing though, still a very good photo. |
