Congratulations on the wedding. I have found that when a subject is deeply and personally interesting to me, photos of it seem better to me than to those not as interested in the subject. This photo doesn't hold my interest and the focus, DOF, comp, and exposure create enough distractions so that I move on rather than linger. Sorry, it's just an opinion. I hope others comment so you can have a broader view.

I like the diagonal lines of the background. A closer crop would put a bit more emphasis on the wooly worm, and dimish the impact of the shallow DoF.
