Sox Win!!!by rayg544Comment by Rikki: Hehehehehe. that guy looks like Regis Philbin :) I would probably bump the contrast and adjust the levels in this image. Remember, it's an advanced challenge. They just need a bit of a push to make this image POP! |

Sox Win!!!by rayg544Comment by tpoc: hilarious! the poor guy had to wait for so long... ; )
fun photo, nice crop and composition, i would almost like to see sharper b&w in the saturation, to pull out greater detail and definition in the image (e.g. leaves & model's hair against background) but this is a nice happy fun photo. hope those sox keep spanking the yanks! |

Sox Win!!!by rayg544Comment by ubique: Clever and appealing. It's certainly a rare cause for celebration, too. Also a technically exemplary photograph. 7 |

Friendshipby rayg544Comment by LoudDog: Greetings from the Critique Club Ray:
I like the colors, the lighting and the border, but flower photos are typically considered to pretty easy to do and thus they need to be pretty outstanding to score well here. Composition wise, I̢۪d take just a little off the left side of the photo to make it fit the rule of thirds a little better.
Also, as your comments say, it really hurts that it̢۪s a fake flower. This exact same photo with a real flower would probably score at least a full point higher. I doubt you̢۪d ever see a fake flower on a greeting card.
I hope you find this helpful, good luck on future challenges.
