Friendshipby rayg544Comment by jessiroo: i think this is a good photo but i think if you used the etheral glow it might give the flower a real feel and take away from it looking like a fake flower |

Friendshipby rayg544Comment by LeeD: Not sure about the reference here, particularly since you used an artificial flower. The lighting seems OK, but I'm not a big fan of the border. |

Friendshipby rayg544Comment by JunieMoon: Good idea, but the fact that this is a fabric rose kind of wrecks it for me. If this were a real rose, I would have graded it higher. If this were to be used for a card, I think the only way you could get away with using a fabric rose is to texturize the entire image to appear like a woven image. |

Friendshipby rayg544Comment by GolferDDS: The aritificial nature of the flower suggests an artificial friendship. A real flower would have worked better. Nice shot though. |

Friendshipby rayg544Comment by ericpi: It's a pretty shot. But the fact that it's a fake flower in a friendship card seems to send the wrong message. I think I would prefer a genuine flower, even if it wasn't as perfect. |

Friendshipby rayg544Comment by jpeters: This is unusual. You don't often see close-ups of artificial flowers, so you get bonus points for originality. It might be more effective to extend the depth of field about another 1/2 inch (or 1.3cm), because the center petals look out of focus. |
