I'm not a big 327 fan, but this shot doesn't do it justice IMHO. The crop is too tight and the sepia tones just don't work for me in this one. Looks like you've got some great detail available, but it's lost without color and highlights.

To me, the white is blown out in this shot, causing you to lose a LOT of definition. I'd even consider cropping it a little closer on the bottom too.

Ancient Utencils

Ancient Utensils yes. Old Culture, not low technology. Very nice perspective and focus on the patterns. Texture of the table really adds to the whole as does the shallow DOF, but the highlight on the stick ends at bottom is annoying, and draws my attention there like a magnet. Lighting and tonality otherwise get high marks, challenge interpretation from the viewer is too far removed from tech.

They are still in use. Would you consider a fork or spoon low tech? I'm not sure, but they are probably as ancient.
