Balancing Actby lytaComment by Damian: Great Colors and texture. But I feel the composition could use a bit of work. |

This is an abstract defining feature, known only to those that know of the person. However, we all agree that this abstract feauture is that of Shakespeare. So all is well that ends well. bumping up. Message edited by author 2004-10-18 00:57:30. |

Way with wordsby lytaComment by Olyuzi: I like the composition and grainy appearance a lot but certain improvements, I feel could give it more impact. First, what's your keyboard doing in there???!!! Secondly, I would like to see more even lighting and possibly some fill light on top to illuminate the rock and top of the paper better. Wish you had photographed this on some old antique desk or something. Also, the color grain could be eliminated with a noise reduction program like Neat Image and would like to see the luminance grain left Good idea, but needs improvement. |

Way with wordsby lytaComment by Cantique: Changed my mind. Now I will rate on the quality of the photo alone and not whether it meets the challenge since I now see that it does... I like the poem and the way it is presented. I like the composition and the sharp focus on the rock and the words. |

Way with wordsby lytaComment by brockangelo: mixed media in art, too confusing, poetry is mixed with photography and it confuses the viewer...(perhaps you want to write, but do not feel okay to publish writing as freely as you do your photography? I may be prying to deep here, but try searching poetry contests online if you haven't already, you might enjoy it! :) maybe looking to deeply, but the point here is that the photograph is neglected because the reading of the writing takes the stage, and if its a surname by which you write, you neglect the writer in you, even worse! |
