Thanks everyone for your comments, I realize that this image could be interpreted several ways. I wasnt going to enter this, but i didnt have anything better. I can completely understand eveyones views, because i wasnt sure myself about what to consider as the subject.

I really like this image but it seemed like it could be great with a little work so I played with it a little and low and behold I couldn't make it all the much better either. Funny how some images are just like that. Certainly without basic editing it would be possible to have more contrast but in the right places. The pattern and textures are amazing but somewhat lost in the flatness of the image. Perhaps a slight bit darker in levels would help too. Still, an excellent capture and great entry for the challenge.
