I get a slightly tilting feeling here - and the sloping verticals in the background would suggest that the photo would benefit from a couple of degrees clockwise. The cockerel is in clear focus, the perspective is good, and your use of a shallow depth of field was the right one, but unfortunately it still hasn't disguised an uninspiring background.

This has a really cool, almost abstract, feel to it. I love the swirls and the changes in the colors throughout. Great catch. Photographically speaking...I would prefer not to have the really bright spot center top.
