Good idea, poor execution. The coin is a bit out of focus and the lighting from the side isn´t helping. Photographing something that reflects light is tricky though and this isn´t a bad effort, but neither a great one. Focus seems to say there was camera shake; lighting is creating harsh shadows. More to the point for me is that it just feels like a photo of a coin. Perhaps a macro shot that got in close enough to disguise the fact that we're even looking at a coin could have captured my interest better. 3, just-married
