Not sure if my many years of trumpeting are influencing me here or not, but this is my top pick of the challenge, and what I had in mind if I had entered the contest myself. the way you worked the background adds unity and proportion to the image. i think it was smart to show the person's face in the background so that the hand isn't just randomly there. great job.
