Zero to Sixty in 5.2by cowboyComment by art-inept: hmm seems like you cropped it too much or your camera lacks some resolution. i'll let you in on my little trick. whenever i have to crop a lot and the image quality seems a little off or there are some small imperfections, i just resize the image smaller. this site has you go as large as 640 but if you want, go down smaller. not too small or people will be suspicious, but it might help you out. lol shh don't tell anyone :) |

Do we have enough clearance?by cowboyComment by blemt: Okay- well this fits the challenge to be sure. Metal in both the car and the bridge. The problem is the composition doesn't really do much more then that. The large mass of the bridge ends up cutting the image in half. The upper bridge work is so cluttered looking that it's challenging to find a point for the eyes to rest. In this case, I think getting closer to some of the bridge work might help improve the story here. When I look at an image, there's always a story there. Even in abstracts. The challenge as a photographer is to try and tell that story in a compelling way. What is it that you want me to see here- other than a bridge? Is it the speed of the car? Is it the might of the bridge span? Find that element, focus on it, and you have a stronger composition. Hope this helps some! |
