the dof is great!

but visually it is not that interesting in my opinion...i think maybe rotating it to make the drop look like it was falling might have given you a better score..you should have placed higher than you did though...

Coming back to bump this shot ...This photo tells a great story ... the figure in the b/g is ominous but the title doesn't make it clear ... does the person want to be friendly? Which creates an ambiguity in the story .. does the figure want to help the cat or hurt it and the cat seems to understand and looks wary .. I love the way you pp this shot .. the oof b/g is perfect - a 9 from me.

The cats crouch, and the OOF person on the right add tension to this scene. I think bit more light on the person (still OOF) would have made that a stronger element in the composition.
