Nice textures. The background is a bit busy so you would have benefited from shallower depth of field. I'm also thinking that the photo may have more impact if the post were off center more to the left, with maybe a different angle that showed more the the line that is the railing - just my thoughts. Still, I think it's a 6

I think the colours look a bit 'off' here. Maybe this would look good in B&W with high contrast?
