Contort XIIIby smithmaComment by chris48083: nice capture! i really like the body positioning and negitive space in front. i wonder how it would feel rotated so youre facing up, but it might be worse off that way, awesome capture. |

Contortby smithmaComment by WalesP: Nice play with the lights. That stuff on the floor in front of you is a bit distracting. Also, I find your right knee a bit distracting or maybe straighten your right shoulder, either both in shadow or both in light.

Contortby smithmaComment by trevytrev: Welcome, first i really like the lighting and the shadows that play on your body, nicely done. As for the compositon I agree that you should center it and square crop it, centered compsoiton can be very effective and as it stands now it just seems off centered. If you have more room maybe a landscape crop with negative space the the left. |

Contortby smithmaComment by Ecce_Signum: Hi Michael and yes, post at will and, if you want you can play catch up (we all missed the first 3 weeks of the year anyway).
I think the comments on the centre issue are because its so close to being centred already? I don't know how much room you have got but maybe if you left more black you could play with composition post shot? Brave man posting this ;) and sadly my attempt was in a challenge so its there for ever! A couple of niggles on a good shot, the lint? in front of you can be cleaned up easily, I'd like to see your right shoulder lined up with your left and maybe a little more light (looks like you have the important bits covered lol).
Just seen your other sp's, thought of changing your username to rubberman ;) |

Contortby smithmaComment by SherwinJames: Very cool. Off-the-wall. Just a little bit more contrast would put it over the top. Well done. |

Contortby smithmaComment by BAMartin: I really like the way the light is reflected off of the back. This makes a very interesting black and white. |

Contortby smithmaComment by Sonifo: Love the pose. Love the finger pose too. Great lighting, makes the shadows on your back stand out. |

I don't think that is a "truism" you should trust. Anyway, that user has left four comments so far, all negative. Consider the source and keep up the good work and the experimenting! |
Thank you very much. That helps me a lot. |
