Spirutual Seekerby tomsperdutoComment by tomsperduto: Thank you everyone for your comments. I try to think, and shoot things a little deeper than what's on the surface. Poverty, to me anyway, can be understood also as a sense of wanting and needing what you can't have. I submited this image because I feel this woman demonstrates those qualities. To me, she is reaching out in her poverty for a closer relationship with God. Thanks again for all your comments. |

Spirutual Seekerby tomsperdutoComment by Neil: Excellent shot. One of my top picks for the challenge. I think, however, it might have been better if you had limited the DOF to separate out the front person and downplay the headless people behind. |

Spirutual Seekerby tomsperdutoComment by Art Roflmao: Hard to tell the connection with the subject of the Challenge - the woman doesn't necessarily look poor, nor do the people around her. That said, it does evoke some emotion and good composition. |

Spirutual Seekerby tomsperdutoComment by rennie: Oh yeah... Even if you are poor financially you can be extremly rich spiritually. I wonder what was happening with those people there? Extremly expressive portrait. Pity it's so small. DPC should allow bigger images. 8. |
