Adorable little girl but it doesn't speak school days to me...
My 1st consideration when judging a photo is how closely it relates to the challenge topic, next originality and photo technique & quality are equally judged.

According to DPChallenge rules, While voting, users are asked to keep in highest consideration the topic of the challenge and base their rating accordingly.
The reason I quote this is because to seems to be a sore spot for some photographers...

too bright probally something to do with the on board flash - maybe next time take advantage of natural lighting and use a tripod to reduce blurriess which occurs when not using the flash - also the surface is very reflective and the eyes tend to focus on the bottom right of the picture - sorry but hope you learn from your mistake
