Nice flowing motion, and the glare on the branche is just enough to show the layer of ice. Blue is pretty dominant in this image, seems to create the right mood (cold).

Excellent photograph. I love a slow shutter on water. The snow/ice on the log is a little hot. Who sings this song, "Ice?" I'm sure there's a song out there somewhere by that title, heh. Good job.

These crystals have some interesting texture to them. The range of colors is nice too. This looks like it may have been a bit overprocessed in the photo editing software. Or, it may just be a result of the harsh direct flash lighting. In the future, when taking pictures of close-up objects, you may try using the exposure compensation feature of your camera if it has one. This shot would have been nicer with maybe a -1 EV exposure compensation. *5* -balynch
