XXby SunnieeComment by KaDi: This is a great "product" shot! (I'll admit, quietly, to being one of the people who gave you a five. I don't remember why...bad mood, New York in January, jealousy?) Bokeh was a brutal challenge! It's a word I'll never forget and, probably, never fully understand.
You do have crispness and color on your side in this image. I wish my "5" was so "terrible" as this....it would have been better. =)
Thanks for playing! |

Robin's Nestby SunnieeComment by Sunniee: Originally posted by Gaia: wow. Only two comments and average score of 4.98. I really enjoyed this picture. I would have liked to hear why so many people decided to vote 3 to 5 points. |
I'm stumped too Cathy..... sigh |

Robin's Nestby SunnieeComment by Sunniee: Thank you very much for your comments... I do appreciate them! Yes, the mother was not happy with me... so I shot quickly without getting too close and let their mother come back to attend to them... lovely little birds! |

Alone on Sandy Beachby SunnieeComment by SJCarter: Wow! This image certainly scores high in that regard (the WOW factor). I love the composition and model placement. One of the few (hopefully constructive) criticisms I have is that the water seems a bit washed out. You might try selectively reducing backlighting and/or increasing the contrast there to bring out some of the detail of the water. Otherwise, I think the coloration of the sand & the model's pose/attire are superb. She seems so immune to anything that is possibly going on elsewhere. Really nice shot! Congrats!
Just my 2 cents...
