Curving lines are pleasant to look at and I like the way you framed it. A little to much contrast, imo. There are hardly any mid-tones in the picture. But that is only my opinion.

Maybe if the rampway was inclined? I love the detail that black and white creates for this shot, within the trees. The only donfall I notice is that the white is washed out on the outside of the left of the rampway, and the black hides some of the detail that could be there. Still, a very nice capture.

Honestly, I love the idea. My problem is with the background. The whole winding down at the end of a long day of heroics idea is great. The bindings/light/chair/reflection distract from the subject though.

I find my personal interpretation of this image interesting and am curious to see if that was the intended message or not. The drink has bad connotations for me as in s/he has been driven to alchol as a result of the job, but the cigar has a celebratory feel or one of relaxation. There is a clear duality present in the image. Photographically it looks good, but the placement of the cigar looks a little odd.
