Flying Scotsman - David Coulthardby PeterCComment by ShutterPug: your subject - the car - is too far away. The blue flag along the right side is very distracting as it takes up more of your image than the subject. A slower shutter speed could have given the feeling of motion. |

Swanby PeterCComment by adine: Interesting angle and some nice details. Like the diagonal composition. Wish there were a bit larger depth of focus - and the bill were included. A bit grainy n the gark green to the right. |

Swanby PeterCComment by The Eskimo: Nice shot. Excellent focus and the swan is shown in a different perspective than usual. |

Swanby PeterCComment by ubique: That's a very good photograph; it captures the formality and aloofness of the swan using an unusual point of view (i.e. without the arched neck & reflections in water normally employed to achieve the same effect). Good example of finding a macro view that's a legitimate microcosm of the whole. 8 |

Swanby PeterCComment by macrothing: 7 - Nice, but more detail would be even better. Nice 'portrait' too. |
