Palm Beachby tonyvComment by GoodEnd: Too dark picture. A new composition with brings more light to the entire picture can works well. |

Rural Tourism on the Riseby tonyvComment by ellamay: Greetings from the CC, well this sky is beautiful, great light. The mountain in the background serves a great place for your eye to rest, after you haave been pulled towards it by the tractor lines in the field and the fence line.
My biggest criticism would be that your horizon is crooked and needs to be rotated slightly to the right. I may have cropped a tiny bit off the bottom not so much as to lose the lines but just to take the horizon line down a bit more. Overall a beautiful shot, with lovely light. Congrats on your well placed finish.

Fallow Fieldsby tonyvComment by Bear_Music: This was by far one of my favorites in the challenge. We did a whole part of our landscape thread on layered, long-lens landscapes, and this is a fine one. I'm not sure if I prefer the alternate version without the second tree; I can'tr make up my mind. The edge-cleaning is good though. Congrats on top 10! |

Greetings from the Critique Club...
Very nice entry. The simplicity of this is really appealing. The composition works flawlessly. Congrats on a really great image and top ten score!
The only suggestion I have is maybe adjust the levels slightly since it's a bit on the dark side and also a slight color balance on the sky to bring that out more. Anyway, just some suggestions as this obviously this did quite well as is. |

Palm Beachby tonyvComment by djtj1980: Good lighting and perspective. I dont understand how the palm tree in the foreground is exposed the way it is. There seems to be a light behind it which would lead me to believe that it is backlit. Backlight = silhouette but yet you have full detail in the tree....a little shadow/highlights manipulation perhaps? |

Palm Beachby tonyvComment by dahved: Very nice. Would have liked a little more light on the top of the main palm. |
