i personally would have kept this as a colour photo - the sepia on the trees blends too much into the vulture - it makes my eyes want to tell my brain it is a dead bird on blacktop. well done for a sharp capture in that pose tjough.

Great moment to capture the bird! I would have preferred the OOF background to be a little smoother - is this pixelation or over-sharpening? The bird's head doesn't stand out quite enough, which I think it would have were the background softer. Good try!

Vulture blends too much into the background on this. If editing was not so restrictive, more blur in bg and selective desat.

face is a bit dark...though you had some pretty tough lighting. I would have cloned out everything branchy after just past the feet. it feels like there's too much empty space-4
