You picked a great subject for the challenge - he does indeed have character and seems very intent on what he's watching. Backgrounds with candids can be a problem but it seems to me you did a pretty good job keeping it as simple as possible given the location.

Cropped just a little too much at the top, need to see tip. A very light grey background might help to set the colourful sneaker of better.
