Given that I have tried to capture a really good shot of a hawk or eagle in flight for the better part of a year I can appreciate the effort of getting a good bead on this bird in flight. It is not an easy capture....Nonetheless there is room for improvement on this picture. Personally a white sky is uninteresting and the white is a glaring background to complement the hawk. Now the white background does serve to function as a minimialistic background such that attention is only focused on the hawk. But the stark white also acts as a sterile background - lacking warmth to really complement the rich browns of the hawk - which a blue sky with a smattering of white clouds can do better to compliment the hues. Now the image as it stands now I think you can very well loose all that white space and go for a closer crop and I'll tell you why. A closer crop where the photo is filled with the soaring hawk would give the viewer a sensation of it looming overhead filling our vision as it comes closer (like we are the prey - especially since it appears like the head is down looking at the ground)

i think this pic has not scored as it deserved probably because a large number of voters are from US and Europe and they lack in knowledge about cricket. For them its difficult to appreciate this.

Nice silhouette and composition, some crop would help, and wish for more size and detail.

Nice one. Like the cop too. A bit soft, details could be better.
Should do well.
