Last try...by AdrienneGCComment by JunieMoon: Nice contrasts on skin. You did a wonderful job on the eyes. Very high fashion look. I have learned that for some reason when doing fashion and model photography, a common technique is to understate the nose, and you did a wonderful job on this one. |

Tickling the Ivoriesby AdrienneGCComment by AdrienneGC: Originally posted by glad2badad: This is a nice shot and probably would have done "OK" in the challenge. It's funny, I've done a nearly identical shot for some stock work and the thing that jumped out at me was the dirt that shows up on the black keys. ;^) That might have cost you a point or two... One other consideration - have you mirrored this? The eye tends to be more natural/comfortable to go left to right (Western culture thing I guess).
Smile and keep having fun! ;^) |
Thanks for your comment. I liked the scratches on the keys because I know is 100 years old and the wear shows its use. But since you didn't know that history you thought it was dirt. Good to see it from your perspective...
I mirrored it and took away some of the "dust". Here's my result: //adriennegc.com/DUOTONES.htmMessage edited by author 2006-02-24 08:13:57. |

Blowing Kissesby AdrienneGCComment by michael_p: Yup same idea as mine yet so much better execution here ! Perfect lighting on your model and and the pose is fantastic, only thing I don't like is the shoulder of the model for two reasons i) would like to see more of her by only a fraction and ii) the shoulder seems blurred but not DOF... Good luck this is a 10 from me :0) |
