I've been to one of these. They're amazing. As is this shot. This looks like a classic painting. The tones, the poses, the way the horses and soldiers are spread out all over the landscape, the smoke from the gunshots. That central tree is a real anchor, and with the two flags, creates a pleasing triangle. Fabulous shot.
