Your background and lighting are really hurting you here. The background is unevenly lit and wrinkled. To make this work, I think you've got to highlight the shape of the guitar, including the tuning knobs. You've lost all the detail of the upper part because you're lighting is dying out on you. Try ironing the sheet and putting the light BEHIND it. This should make a more even light that will highlight your details better.
