If your camera doesn't have the option of manually setting the exposure, I would have aimed the camera at a subject slightly brighter than the child, half pressed the shutter, and then recompose this subject before fully pressing the shutter. It might also give a little more color to the shot. |

Ready To GOby SunChildComment by cpanaioti: Cute capture. The lighting seems to be very extreme with a range from very dark to very bright. A diffuser would have probably helped to bring the range within that that the camera could resolve without overexposing some areas (head, hand, wheelbarrow). |
