I think this would have been a much stronger entry if you had shot just her hair at closer range and left her face out of it. From this distance you lose a lot of the texture and fine light reflection you get from hair.

Such a cute idea! IMO this would have been so much nicer with better light...the light here seems a bit harsh and direct...too "flash"...some side lighting aimed mainly at the curls with just hints of the models face would have been fantastic. ..and though I am a huge fan of B & W I really think this would be nice in color against a darker background...regardless, this is still a really fun idea!

Seems somewhat over sharpened. Neat idea and beautiful model. One more comment: wish the background was of a lighter or darker depth to further accent the hair ringlets. Except for her, the tone is too grayish. Needs more contrast to really be effective (IMHO). BOL
