The color and lighting are good. The background color works well. I'm not a big fan of closing the DOF so much that only a very small portion of the subject is in focus, but that's me.

I generally like water drops on flowers, but the one on the petal is very distracting to me. The DOF (IMO) being on the middle of the petals does not contain enough interest (except for the water drop which takes away from the image), that I would have liked to see it a little deeper to include at least the smaller petals of the same color.

Now I'm done and I did find one (only one) that I liked better. Beautiful - So many many subtle details. The date 1945, the miliary uniform on th man to the left. the sedding ring catching the light, the true sepia tone. Thier hands are great, Rule of thirds works well. great compsoition and selective focus. Very nice!!! changed my mind - 10
