Luna Mothby SJCarterComment by Artyste: This is a really nice macro shot.. good composition, great subject. The color just seems to be a little washed out. Not enough yellow in the green, if you know what I mean. |

Greyledgeby SJCarterComment by Arcanist: I love the color of the reflection in the water, however the sky seems to not agree with the rest of the image, perhaps a bit of color replace or a selective hue adjustment there would make it seem even more vibrant. |

Lunamosityby SJCarterComment by Arcanist: I really like the 3d effect that this has going for it. The extra sharp feathery antennae almost look metallic. Very nice capture and finshing. |

Ashaby SJCarterComment by lshles: A very dramatic capture without going with a lot of contrast. I like this a lot. |

Smith Mountain Lake Sunsetby SJCarterComment by cpanaioti: What works: tonality of the entire image and the definition in the water and sky.
What doesn't work: the colour and the centered horizon (band of dark trees) Message edited by author 2005-07-19 15:33:57. |

Smith Mountain Lake Sun Raysby SJCarterComment by cpanaioti: What works: low horizon to emphasize the drama in the sky
What doesn't work: The brightest part of the clouds are blown out therefore distracting from the nice beams of light protruding them. |
