Comment by janbruder:
beautiful color and toning, perfect exposure. maybe DOF could have been greater to include a clear line towards the bottom left. Great job!

Nice detail on the ratchet. You can almost feel the rounded edges.

Not sure what the "Do you know?" means...guess I don't know. I like how you didn't use the entire scissors or rock in the image but am bothered by the lighting and the smudge and line up by the scissors handle. The lighting seems too dark and lacks punch. Good luck.

Nice composition. Interesting, somewhat symetrical. As my 2 cents worth; a little more contrast between the paper and the forground objects.

Hello!

The first thing I am wondering is what you mean by "huge crop"... I am generally not a fan of cropping except (in a case like this) to just slide one side in tighter, if that is what you did. Whenever possible, use the camera to do the cropping for you. Not to be confusing... but I actually like the crop you used here. My focus is pretty much on your eye, which is probably what you wanted. I think the overall picture could be brought up a bit, lightened, with special care given to the lip area. That could get too bright really quick. I think the problem here is you have no detail in your dark areas. People always want to see some detail in the shadows. Everyone's monitor is different and I am seeing a blueish tint which I like for this challenge. Blue can definately indicate bored!

This is a nice photo, but the sky is a bit too grainy (sorry if this is posted twice, for some reason the first one didn't take).
