First Thing In the Morningby goofyjulsComment by Evaan: Love your idea, but the composition went a little flat. Several separate areas of interest. Maybe zooming in on the coffee pot would simplify the photo and bring full focus to the star!! :) |

First Thing In the Morningby goofyjulsComment by 2Shay: Good idea for challenge. I think this shot is just a bit too cluttered. There are too many unimportant items in the picture. Maybe a more creative shot of just the cofee pot would have worked well. |

First Thing In the Morningby goofyjulsComment by RolandB: I think this could be improved by not using a flash (to eliminate the shadows and take away the "snapshot" feeling); moving the main subject off center; and cropping the distracting wall hanging out on the left side. The flash reflection on the carafe is very not good!
The concept was good.

First Thing In the Morningby goofyjulsComment by hannafate: A little more artful arrangement of the items, and more interesting lighting would have improved this a lot. It looks like you just staggered into the kitchen and took a snapshot using the flash attached to the camera. (I think it's the worst invention in the history of photography)
Morning coffee was a good idea for the challenge. |
