Wow, that's creepy. Yeah, I know, I'm more scared of them than they are of me...but come on, doesn't that look creepy? =) Nice clarity on the head, especially the eye. The blurred background is nice as well. Cool shot.

yeah... I learned that it takes a pretty fast exposure to stop that tongue. I have snakes in the backyard and I've been trying to get a good shot of one with the tongue out. it goes out and back faster than I can press the shutter, and even if I catch one with the tongue out, it wiggles so fast that at 1/500th it's still blurry.
great shot. (btw... my wife absolutelly despises snakes, she can't even look at one without freaking out.

Great clear shot of his head. The flicking tongue is effectibe. I might darken up the background just a touch.
