I think this is one of those scenes that is much better in person. The row of bushes really keep me from enjoying the slopes. I also can't put anything in context - the hills could be 20 feet high or 2000 feet high - I really can't tell from this image. Detail is nice.

I really love pictures of aspens, and this time of the year they are beautiful. This photo seems to lack an overall saturation of color to pull out the brilliant yellows and the white of the trunk. Very nice in keeping the blue of the sky and picking up detail on the forest floor.

7 - Nice lighting, colors, composition and framing. Just wish a fraction more contrast, or possibly saturation, not sure - but likely difficult with exposure issues. May well be exactly as you intended anyway. Perhaps a more refined crop at the bottom, or a softening to help the 'glow' dominate more, not sure.
