One of my few 10s. An awsome catch. Cats simply do not do this! And great angle and shape contrast with the background oof texture. I agree esp with graphicfunk's comments (as usual :)

I'm still laughing at this cat. As soon as this challenge was over I immediately scanned through the pictures to see where you had rated. What is different about this one versus the posed pictures is that this is an original. Even if it is a little out of focus, I still think it is great. One of my favourites, that's for sure.

This expression alone deserves a ribbon. The photojournalist captures the image the best he can. Sometimes we catch an image which falls short on the technical side. Well, this is a portrait challenge, but I would have gone with this exact image in place of a slicker one. Well, you have made an exceptional capture here and I congratulate you for it.
