Book 5by lemondsterComment by L2: Excellent use of positioning and depth of field to bring attention to focal point. Lighting is good and helps to set the mood. Good job! |

Piecesby lemondsterComment by Bebe: I like the concept (and I believe you're the only one to use it). In general, I like black & whites, but wonder whether the bright colors of the pieces might not have helped this, IMHO. If you really wanted to stick with black & white, perhaps a larger contrast (more bright whites) would have helped. |

Book 5by lemondsterComment by Nitin: A tighter crop to exclude the bottom and right distractions would help.

On a Showerby lemondsterComment by whagerbaumer: Even turning my brightness all the way up at least 80 percent of this picture is dark space and the remainder very uninteresting. A 3. |

Book 5by lemondsterComment by ladyhawk22: A very cool idea :-) The lighting looks reallky good. Nice depth of field. This could certainly be hung on a wall. |

Piecesby lemondsterComment by ccraft: This is an effective composition - but I find you really need black blacks and white whites to make a black and white photograph work. A white background may have done the trick - with a higher contrast to ensure the darkest shadows are black. 5 |

Piecesby lemondsterComment by AlexMonty: Not a bad idea, I think your lighting let you down a bit though :( Good luck for the challenge! |
