A good effort that lacks several elements of being technically successful, but the most glaring is the lack of proper focus to bring out the detail of the bee. From an artistic standpoint, it is an intersting image but is fails to have any significant artistic impact. A good entry into the challenge.

What this is is a light, the shade is the black square with a blue, glass insert, the bulb was a halogen light, with a cube cage around it, the lines did not really show when the light was on but shadowed when shot with the camera.
The light fixture was at the end of a hallway.
Post processing was align, and crop.
The illusion was that if you moved your head the blue square acted like it was floating around and the center light circle played tricks like expanding and contracting.
If you really saw the light fixture in its area you would never really know that the lines were there until you took the picture. I shot it because I just wanted the little black square with the blue center piece.
