almost like momsby jessirooComment by macrothing: Like the potential here. Apologies if wrong, but it looks like the saturation/colors have been processed in a way that it has lost the natural 'complementary' color. I think if perhaps the perspective/angle was a little different, possibly even trying to get just the brick wall as the 'background' (without the window), and a slightly different crop, would have made this a much better picture in my opinion. |

what am I?by jessirooComment by macrothing: No - can't guess (yet). Post a hard clue as a 'comment'.
I tried to cheat by looking at other shots in your portfolio and could take a stab at saying it is the edge of a bike handlebar - or the edge of a roller blade - but I don't think it is either of those. Looks metal, but 'light metal', I can see the curve at the top and what looks like the start of plastic down the bottom. Will come back 'in a while' to see if you post a 'clue'.
edit/'PS': would you please tick the 'helpful' box when you have seen this so I know to come back - thank you. Message edited by author 2005-12-06 19:06:12. |

Crystals of the Unicornby jessirooComment by OneSweetSin: Greetings from the Critique Club
As I am looking at this there is one thing that stands out to me the placement. You are cropped so tight on the right side that you should have balanced it out by cropping tighter on the bottom.
Your lighting seemed to be fairly good here you only have a small amount of glare going on. You also have good detail.
I don't see a true white background though I see a bit of a pink hue, probably from working in sepia mode.
If I had to pick one thing here though that hurt you in this challenge it would be the subject...the unicorn just does nothing for me here, I'd rather be looking at more detail to the cuts than the pewter figure. |

Crystals of the Unicornby jessirooComment by rick13601: I like the idea. The unicorn and cystals brings out enchanted and mystical thoughts. I might have used this shot for a different challenge such as fantasy for example. |
