EXTby jessirooComment by buzzrock: Thats a real "Crisp" Macro--
If you can keep this detail on say flowers or smaller still life subjects, than you will have some good shots.. |

Cheeseby jessirooComment by buzzrock: Very good shot..
I agree with Rex, if she stood a bit more to your left, then the BG would have been all grass & probably woulda made a better shot, but I like this photo, nice job. Message edited by author 2005-10-03 20:51:32. |

Blade'nby jessirooComment by jpochard: Looks like she could probably use some knee pads, elbow pads, and maybe a "behind" pad too :) She looks a little unsure of herself, but you captured the moment well. It would have been cool to get some more of her shadow in the picture too. |

EXTby jessirooComment by jpochard: Cool colors. You might think about cutting off the top part of the photo (cropping) so that the blue is out of the picture. I like the textures and colors of the bike handle. It looks kind of abstract and modern. |

Cheeseby jessirooComment by rex: Killer portrait.....I like the soft focus on this. Try and get rid of the sidewalk behind her and make it grass also. I am sure your mom knows how to do that but you probably know more than her so give it a try. Enjoy the membership and keep on taking photos. Message edited by author 2005-10-03 19:18:38. |

The Apple Queenby jessirooComment by ursula: Congratulations on an excellent finish for a first entry! I love the way you arranged the apple and the flowers on the leaves. I like the dandelion right below the apple. The greens and red are really beautiful, they look so juicy.
I hope you make many more beautiful pictures - making pictures is just about the funnest thing to do in art. |

The Apple Queenby jessirooComment by coolhar: I liked this one a lot and voted it higher than it's final score. The shiny green leaves are a cool background, a few more of them, or perhaps moving in a little closer would have eliminated the less attractive brown in the upper corners. Very colorful, saturation and sharpness are high but don't go over the line into being over-sharp or over-saturated. Keep up the good work and don't get too preoccupied with scores. |
