Hug Foreverby magueroComment by sajin: when shooting a seascape it is vital to get your horizon spot on level....fortunately you can correct this with photoshop, but you will lose some of the pic...nice bright pic! |

Hug Foreverby magueroComment by Dusty: Correcting the tilting horizon would have improved this photo, which is very easily done in PS. I know, I speak from experience as I did the same thing on my first challenge entry. Other than that it's a very nice photo with beautiful colors. (6) |

Symmetry of Coffeeby magueroComment by metoecus: The speck in the bottom right corner is distracting, as is the obvious over-sharpening. The leading lines make for a strong composition. The odd shadows suggest that this was painted with light, which I think worked well. I wouldn't be surprised to see this in the top ten once the challenge ends. I think that a little more attention to detail could have made this a shoe-in for a ribbon.

Symmetry of Coffeeby magueroComment by LalliSig: Nice symmetry, gives those beans some interest apart from the tons of other shots with beans in them. Lighting is a bit harsh though for my taste as you have some overexposed glare on some of the beans and also a shame this is a basic editing rules challenge as the white stuff on the backround is a bit distracting but other than that, very cool and one of the best in the challenge, gave this a 7. |
