And this one too!!! I'm so jealous of the opportunity you have to see wildlife like this!!! You have really captured a personality in that big ol' fellow!! Awesome!!!

Just beautiful but I would like to see either some detail in the foreground or a drastic crop.

Very nice shot. Great design and sharpness. I would have punches up the blues and yellows a bit, but that a personal preference. Good job!

Comment by trnqlty:
The lighting here is definetly harsh making the subject a little bit flat and also making it lose a little color. You may consider experimenting with different crops. Maybe losing some off the top and right to put the lion off-center. The only other thing I may suggest(and I didn't notice right away) is cloning out the purple lens flare(or whatever its called) right along the bottom of the frame at the lions rear.

Comment by Melethia:
Nice shot with good DOF and interesting patterns formed by the trees behind the lion. If you have PhotoShop (or the equivalent), try working with the levels or curves a little to bring out more contrast and color in the cat's fur. Add a little sharpening and I think you'll like the result.

Light is hard to control when it's bright sunlight. There's a couple of spots where I think the pixels on the lions forelegs are blown. But, I still give it an A!
