Murder in the War Memorialby chaliceComment by posthumous: Jared always hated war memorials. They seemed part of a cycle of glorification that would only lead to more death and more memorials. But he wasn't here to celebrate or mourn the past. He was here because there was one death too many at this memorial, and he needed to find out why. |

Murder in the War Memorialby chaliceComment by Beetle: There is a lot that I like about this cover:
The title (mostly the way it looks). The rest of the text (i.e. WHAT you chose to write). The font. The placement of the text. The overall colour scheme. The background picture/texture.
What I don't like is the way the image is just sort of plopped there. For once, I would really like to see a border and/or different placement and/or no image at all.
That image just looks so out of place in an otherwise very pleasing book cover design. |
