Your white balance seems to be far too warm (orange), at least on my monitor. The perspective is a little odd and it seems you'd have done better to go either completely topdown or more of a severe angle. As it is, the angle creates a very "normal" perspective as though I were sitting there looking at the cereal. The background material is distrcting and has far too much detail. The spoon could be omitted to greater effect. Decent effort, though.

i like the shot, however the average voter will not see how using candles for light as being obsolete, they will see how candles are not obsolete, and they might think it doesnt submit to the challenge..

Great composition and a nice idea for this challenge. I'd suggest using a tripod or - if you don't have one - trying to put your camera on something level. This image has nice lighting, but it appears to be slightly blurry. Good luck though. The vision for this was well thought out.
