Are you kidding? I doubt that anyone can improve on this lovely image. The true charm lies with cute subject and its heartwarming expression. The perching is outstanding. The composition is complete and very well cropped.

As is, it is complete. Wise selection of dof to obliterate the background. The pole and its color becomes the leading support and to find its tiny talons embracing its adds charm.

While this image is complete there is also the alternative takes by zooming in closer, but then this becomes a different image.

The colors are pleasing and the image does not suffer from over sharpenning. All in all, I expected this image in the top 5. 11th is good because the competition is real hot in this challenge, so hot that I was happy with my sparrow score. Top twenty, as in your case, means that the image is above average. Your technique, as displayed is very promising and you have a very good eye and good taste. Now, get out of here and keep up the nice work.
