Cropped a bit tightly, and a little too dark in my opinion. I like the way the light was casted upon the ladder, but the sun spots are a bit much.

Composition is strong here, a great use of negative space. The color cast however is too yellow throughout. I am assuming you were going for the warm tone feeling, but you are lacking the warmth of reds. The model looks to possibly have red hair - would have loved to see the color come through more. The facial expression does not say independence to me, or freedom from routine. It looks too posed - like a waxed museum piece. The eyes are fixed into a stare. Would have been more convincing if the model was in a more relaxed, care free pose.

It took me a few minutes to figure out what this was. The lighting does not help at all. The crop is awkward, leaving me bits and pieces but I can't tell what is the focus. This could be reshot, maybe on an overcast day to get rid of the hots spots, maybe with the photographer on a more even plane with the ladder. This would give a clearer view of what you as the photographer saw. 3

I wish this were more rich and not so yellow. Maybe bring up the gray tones a bit more. The light on her cheekbones is nice and the use of negative space works for me. Maybe crop out part of the left side just a smidge.
