Someone who didn't know Nascar would not have a clue what is going on here. Although I am very jealous of you being there in all the action as I love Nascar and have never personally been to a race, I'm not real crazy about this photo. I think that there is a lot more fascinating pictures that could have been taken here. The subject is too dark (skin tones are very red) and doesn't clearly show what they are doing.
